This is fairly simple to use and feels really sturdy. I used it to hold a 49-key midi keyboard over my 88 key. It works really well for that purpose, and I don't find that it inhibits my view of the bottom keyboard all that much. Plus, the angle is adjustable, so you can get it where you want it. This is way cheaper than buying an additional tiered stand, and I highly recommend it.

Bought this for future use and finally installed it the other day. It was inexpensive and I had doubts about how it would attach, etc. but I was pleased with the design.
Attaching the two vertical members to my base stand (an ONKS7150 platform type) didn't give the attachment the solid feel I anticipated but once I attached the adjustable cross member it was job done.
I'm using it to hold an M-Audio KeyStation above my Studiologic 88-key. It's tilt adjustable but not height adjustable so keep that in mind when ordering. Comes with a set of rubber 'plugs' to replace the L-shaped ends shown in the picture (for mounting large keyboard 'flat').
All in all a great product for the price.
