The Paterson Medium Light Pod Shooting Tent is an egg-shaped plastic cove made up of four translucent diffusion panels that are fastened with zippers for easy assembly and storage. It features three photo portholes so you can shoot your product from overhead, at a 45° angle or horizontally.
Position any type of light source around the cocoon, anywhere -- even from underneath, if you are set up on a shooting table, or glass.
It is specifically designed for the angle of view and focus needed by a 55 - 60mm macro lens on a 35mm camera or equivalent.
To change background colors, simply unzip the Pod and insert a paper backdrop cut to size.

Comments about Interfit Light Pod Medium "Cocoon" Shooting Tent:
Once I finally got the pod assembled (pretty challenging) I had issues with reflection fom the interior walls. Since the purpose of this pod is to control reflection I found this item useless.

I do some small product photography as part of the services I offer and This product is great for photographing small items isolated on white or any other colorI choose. I use a gel over my backlight to change the color to the color I need. My only complaint is the zipper is a little weird but I may have it put together backwards, the directions could have been a little more detailed. Either way it works great for my needs!!!!

Comments about Interfit Light Pod Medium "Cocoon" Shooting Tent:
I have used this pod for about a year now and it does soften the light as they advertise however it does have a few drawbacks. Although you start to get used to it it takes a few minutes to set up where some others take only seconds. It also has 4 pieces that are all connected with zippers and are not user friendly to show you what goes where inside or outside. My last comment is that there are two holes and one slot cut into the top opening for your camera. This is great except you see these openings in any reflective surface. So look at all of your options before jumping into this one.
Problems Encountered: Difficult to assemble.Bad reflections from openings in the front/top
