    About The Author: Ron Dabbs is senior media engineer at Evatone, Inc. and founder of the Musicians' Technical Workshop. Beginning his career in professional audio recording and production at the age of sixteen, he rose in ten short years to the position of executive vice-president/general manager of one of the largest independent recording studios in the country. Ron's production credits include several platinum recordings and numerous awards for music tracks for video, television, and advertising campaigns. His diverse client base has exposed him to virtually every aspect of audio production from location and studio recording to film mixing, disc mastering, and DVD authoring.
