Easy to set up and use, this powerful but tiny device connects to your computer. You connect an audio cable from your stereo to the unit, and you're ready to go! The unit automatically detects the connection of your remote speakers; all you have to do is select the speakers in the pop-up list that appears at the bottom of the iTunes window and click Play.
AirPort Express also provides simultaneous wireless Internet access via your DSL or cable modem for up to 10 computers. Use Apple's Stereo Connection Kit for Airport Express to maximize the integration.

- Store Multiple Profiles
- This base station lets you store up to five profiles, allowing you to pre-configure your settings for various situations. For example, you might have one profile for using your base station at home, and another profile when you're tapped into a friend's Wi-Fi system.
- Intuitive Music Player
- Apple AirTunes interfaces intuitively with iTunes to let you play any music you want from your iTunes library. Automatically sensing when there is an AirPort Express Base Station with AirTunes on the wireless network, iTunes prompts you to play the music or other iTunes file. AirTunes then encodes and buffers the files, preventing skipping or delays during playback. Once the buffer is filled, AirPort Express sends the music through the audio port to the stereo.
