Matthews Gaffer Grip with 5/8" Pins
The Matthews Gaffer Grip with 5/8" Pins is a multi-use clamp which can hold small light fixtures virtually anywhere that the adjustable jaw can clamp over. The jaw is equipped with 12 rubber gripper pads that not only protect the surface being clamped but also provide greater gripping ability.
The 2- 5/8" (16 mm) mounting pins accept lights and accessories with a 5/8" ("Baby") receiver.

This thing takes a strong hand to open, but then that's a good thing as it seems to hold quite a bit. I'd rate it as good as any out there that I've used, and it feels like it'll last a lifetime.

I have tried various "grips" This one works the best. The adustment knob makes all the difference. You can get a good, flat, grip on many surfaces.

This is one of my favorite pieces of grip equipment. It's versatile and customizable enough to hold everything from lights to boom poles to the leveling screw on the base of a tripod head. Way cool.
