These little things are wonderful. They're affordable, they're comfy, they have good sound quality for their price, and best of all, they're QUIET. I can actually turn up my iPod's volume past the first little pixel on the meter and not feel like I'm going to go deaf!
The only complaints some people might have with these headphones are:
- They do not block ambient sound. If you're in a crowded room trying to listen to your iPod, you WILL hear everything that's going on around you. (I consider this a plus, personally.) My advice: get a second pair of headphones for loud environments. These ones are so inexpensive that it shouldn't be a problem.
- Not much in the way of bass. (Again, I consider this a plus.) The bass is not nonexistent, but if you're one of those people who likes playing their music loud with the bass cranked all the way up, you won't like these headphones.
- They will probably fall off if you try to wear them while jogging.
- They have those black spongy things on them, which WILL disintegrate before the headphones themselves stop working. (It took a good 5 or 6 years for my first pair to lose their spongy things, though, and they were still usable afterwards.)
I had a pair of these for about 10 years before my cat chewed up the cord and ruined them. I tried pair after pair of similarly-priced headphones from all the major brands, but none measured up to these. Finally, in an act of desperation, I looked on the internet to see if these headphones still existed (I hadn't seen them in stores in years). To my immense joy, the same exact model of headphones that I'd lost were still being manufactured! HOORAY! I ordered myself a pair and am once again a happy listener!

I bought this Headphone with a lot of expectations after reading a lot of good reviews about it . It is supposed to be the headphone for action oriented people who need a set of head phone that does not fall off while Jogging /Exercising and that was the reason of me buying the Headphone . However , it does not fit properly into my ears and now the only way I use them is at my office desk where there is least amount of movement . Also , the ear pads due to the way they are designed absorb all the sweat that you generate while jogging/exercising . So ,as far as the objective behind buying this Headphone is concerned I am disappointed .
However , to be fair sound quality of the head phone is good ( as per the price range )

Comments about Sony MDR-Q22LP Fashion Ear-Clip Stereo Headphones with Interchangeable Caps:
I've had a pair of these for years and wanted to get a second pair so I could keep one at work. They're lightweight, unobtrusive, comfortable, and sound great. I've used these all day long at work, jogging, traveling, odd jobs around the house, and almost everywhere else. After 3 or 4 hours you might want to give your ears a rest for a little while, but it's not that big of a deal. They do not block out all other sounds which I really like while jogging or working so that I don't get run over by a co-worker stopping by.

Earbuds don't fit well in my ears. These, however, clip behind the ear. Comfortable, better than earbuds. Not as big as the larger headphones. Sound is reasonably good. Not like a Bose but these are portable and simple. I use them for outdoor and indoor excercise. This is my third pair. The sponge-like part that goes next to the ear is surprising durable. Even with all my sweat. Good value for price.

Comments about Sony MDR-Q22LP Fashion Ear-Clip Stereo Headphones with Interchangeable Caps:
These are actually my second pair. I love these headphones. I was surprised they still made them, since I've had my old set for easily over 6 years. They are the perfect in-between of a regular headband headset & the ear canal kind. They fit snug on my ears, and only get a little loose if say I'm cleaning and bending down a lot. They are very comfortable, though they may be weird when you first try them on because of their unique clip design.
I've found the sound quality on these to be great. Before I decided to try just looking for these again, I went through several pairs of compact headphones. That's when I realized how good these were. I didn't realize how spoiled I was with sound, especially at the price point. The gold-plated connector is a nice touch too.
Super Durable. I still actually have my old set, and they've been through a lot. School, commuting, work, exercise, cleaning, knots, and kittens. I actually picked these again over the retractable cord version of these because the cord on these are very strong. I've also drop them a bunch of times, and the worst that's ever happened was the colored cap would pop off. Those didn't even break.
One possible con is that the earbuds do not come off the center wire in a v shape, but more like a u shape. The right earbud comes off of the left earbud which comes off of the main wire (if that makes sense). At first this bugged me, but now that I use them for mainly exercise and cleaning it works out better because I can take one off, and let it hang there and it wont pull the other off my ear.
Con:
The wire tangles easily. They put some kind of rubber coating on the wire that I swear coaxes the wire to tangle when you're not looking.
Side note:
Like the picture shows, the caps that come with this are silver and dark blue. Not the lighter blue that came with the headphones originally. The dark blue is actually quite nice, and is pretty close to black - which I prefer. Just figured I'd mention the color change.

I LOVE THESE HEADPHONES!
I mainly use them with my phone, for my train commute to work. I also use them to work out in the gym. The best feature is that they have the over the ear "clip on" style, so the headphones don't fall off. Great for workouts. I also like the fact that they can fit snug on the outside of the ear, rather than going inside the ear. I've never been a fan of those kinds of headphones.
These headphones have a great sound with surprisingly good bass.
Most importantly, the price is amazing!
You guys are the only people that I can find anymore that carry this item. I hope you don't run out.

Comments about Sony MDR-Q22LP Fashion Ear-Clip Stereo Headphones with Interchangeable Caps:
The Headphones are very comfortable and stay on the ear. I cannot use the headphones that insert into the canal. They aggravate my ears and make it an unpleasant experience. Although the sound quality is not the optimum, it gets you what you need. They are inexpensive, so really one cannot consider that they would as good as more expensive headphones. I use them mostly for Podcasts and they do the trick. So happy I don't have to hurt my ears with the easy clip Headphones.
I think the interchangeable caps are a bit overkill. It makes me feel like an an android. Just keep it simple Sony.

These headphones are not the newest model, but they work great! I use them for working out, and for my daily commute to work. I love the clip on style because they don't fall off my ears. I prefer these much better than the one that go inside the ear.
the bass has a much better quality. I had to search to find these. My last pair I bought over 3 years ago, and the cord finally started to go. I will be buying a few more pair just as back up, as they were hard to find this time. bottom line, I LOVE THEM!!!

Bought for my teenage son who had trouble with regular earphones being painful and falling out of his ears. These earphones are lightweight and extremely comfortable to use. The cord was surprisingly long which is great when travelling but not so good for storage. Also there is a lot of sound leakage compaired to regular headphones. Altogether a good buy for the price.

These headphones are great for use when you're on the go. They sit outside you're ear which makes them more comfortable and they stay in place when you're exercising. Plus the last pair I owned lasted for several years with normal wear and tear.
