A PC (Post Connection) Cord connects a camera to a flash head, or monolight, enabling the flash to fire at the instant the shutter button is pressed. Many cameras do not have a PC terminal to connect this cord. If so, an additional Hot Shoe Adapter must be used, to provide the necessary terminal.
This is a 32.8 ft Phono (1/4") to Male PC sync cord.

I had a 15 foot sync cord and this really helped in where I position my camera and flash unit. Works flawlessly with Impact monolights.

I bought this because my fancy wireless flash transmitter drove me nuts. It triggered the flashes when it shouldn´t and vice versa. With this simple cord my flashes now syncs perfectly. Yes, you might feel a bit more restricted to move around the studio with a cord attached but that is a small price to pay compared to missed and underexposed shots due to missed sync. The cord lenght is good and the bright yellow color is good too - it makes it is easy to see so you don´t step on it on the studio floor.

This nice, long sync cable does the job. The connectors are pretty cheap, but the soldering is good, and the price is right. I like the banana-yellow color--helps it stand out so people don't trip on it!
