Comments about Hama Clear Photo Corners (500):
For the price these are a fair value. Use them to replace some corners on older albums and for mounting new pictures in scrapbooks. These corners are quite a bit smaller than the old 1940-60's corners, about half the size but they are clear and do not obstruct any of the pictures.
I got them for the convenience of not having to moisten them to mount. If you don't mind doing that, the older size is available in several colors to match the original.
The one issue I have with them is that they are a bit stiff and do not separate from the roll very easily. I had previously used the Pioneer version and they are a bit more flexible and easier to extract from the backing roll. The Pioneer version is also soft and flexible. The Hama are very stiff, like hard plastic.
For mounting pictures the Hama are better because of the stiffness. They hold the pictures better and stay in place on the pictures as I mount them to a page. The Pioneer because they are lighter and softer sometimes move or fall off the picture before I can set them on the page.
Overall these corners do the job. I just wish they were a bit easier to detach from the backing roll. The stiffness makes them more secure than the Pioneer version, but it's a real hassle removing them from the backing out of the box.

I used these to mount 8x10's to 11x14 foam board which was then placed in resealable poly bags from bagsunlimited. They are easy to install, hold very well and disappear.
