Comments about AJA HD10MD3 Miniature Digital Downconverter:
Does exactly what is supposed to do. Although will not work out of cable box because of the non recordable features of the cable signal. Works with the canon 5d however not as a full image.

Works exactly what I expected. Lots of functions is a bonus.
Only cons is specific power supply, making it difficult to use on batteries.
BTW: it consumes only 550mA - this is great I think

Comments about AJA HD10MD3 Miniature Digital Downconverter:
Graet product, works grat with RED ONE camera, on my Sachtler Artemis Cine, camera stabilization system. Very easy way to make a power supllay for downconverter, diractly from the Artemis! I was only confused when I plug the power supply, the green led didn't light up, so I tought that there is something wrong with it!? But the green led light up only when there is an HD signal coming to downconverter.
I would racommand this to every steadicam operator, that does not have an HD monitor!

Comments about AJA HD10MD3 Miniature Digital Downconverter:
On a steadicam Ultra I work with a ultrabright daylightscreen and composite video transmitter, so when working with the RED I need to convert the HD 720P signal to view it without a delay.
So, this the way to go !

Comments about AJA HD10MD3 Miniature Digital Downconverter:
This is used on a Red Camera with PAL output - easy to hook up and zero problems from day one. The switches on the back are a little impenetrable initially and the lack of instruction booklet is a little confounding initially but it's pretty easy to understand overall. Great product. 10/10
