Purchased this eye cup as a replacement for a lost one. I tried a couple of other brands that didn't really fit my prism finder, but this one does. If you need a replacement, just buy this one.

It's functional in keep stray light out from the prism. Requires an cinematographer's eye pad for comfort. Could be more secure when on the prism and could also hold its shape better over time. But, there's not many other options (if any), so it will have to do.

I don't know why, but, Mamiya RB/RZ prism finder eyecups always seem to age and become an unusable twisted up mass of rubber way too soon. Here's the Mamiya exact replacement you need. This one fits my RZ67 AE prism finder to a 'T'. And at a very reasonable price t'boot! (Maybe I should've bought two?)

I use this on several Mamiya prisms. It is of high quality construction and does the job. Leave it home one day and you will never forget it again. It blocks light well.

I lost the original eyecup years ago and had been getting by without it. I'm glad a replacment is available, it makes taking pictures a joy again!

Protects you from bumbing your eye against the viewfinder.Diminishes visability while looking thru the viewfinder (alittle darker)because theres less light coming from the sides and from above but dosen't affect quality. You just have to pay attention to your focus ring so you dont get soft images.
