The Aphex 148 is a unique device that reestablishes the convenience of audio signal splitting, in the digital domain. Digital audio signal flow in workstations, recording rigs and sound reinforcement installations can often benefit from the ease of analog-style signal splitting without leaving the digital environment. The Aphex 148 enables 8 channels (4-stereo pairs) of digital audio signal to be split into 32 channels (16-stereo pairs). The Aphex 148 supports 110 ohm balanced an 75 ohm unbalanced signal and connections are made via 15-pin D sub connectors (1 input, 4 outputs).
