The 2-1176 is a two-channel limiting amplifier, based on Bill Putnam's original 1176LN but developed from the circuit design of Universal Audio's 6176 Channel Strip. It combines two 1176 channels from that unit with all the same components and stereo matched.
The 2-1176 retains all the features and trademark sound of its ancestor, and switches easily between dual mono and stereo link. And yes - it does All-Button.
- Sound and features of the original 1176LN limiting amplifier, with stereo or dual mono operation
- Totally independent compression and gain controls in dual mono mode
- Classic custom 1176LN output transformers
- Matched FETs and output transformers
