Comments about Leica 10x25 Ultravid Binocular (Black):
I use this pair of bin's for birding and wildlife photography. Can't say enough about them, light, bright, great clarity without breaking the neck OR the bank.
Don't waste your money on bigger binoc's. These maybe small but they are perfect for my needs.

Use for hiking and sport events. Even looking at the distant mountain ranges is a pure pleasure like I am physically on top of that!

Comments about Leica 10x25 Ultravid Binocular (Black):
Use: Avid birder
These binoculars are very light weight and very sharp. Because of their small object lens (25 mm) it does take a little getting use to training them onto your object of interest. Saying that, the size allows me to take them with me where ever I go. No more I wish I had my binos. These are like the best camera, which is the one you have with you. These binoculars go beyond just having a set to have with you but are spectacularly crisp and clear. Worth the premium price.

Comments about Leica 10x25 Ultravid Binocular (Black):
I use compact binoculars mostly for travel because of their small size. I debated whether to "up grade" to the Ultravid 10X25 binoculars because I already own the Trinovid 10X25 binoculars which are excellent. The casual observer will find it difficult to compare the two binoculars but the Ultravid binoculars are brighter. The image of both binoculars is excellent. The slightly higher "eye point" of the Ultravid binoculars is an advantage if you use eyeglasses. The improved waterproofing of the Ultravid is good for inclement weather.
The construction and cosmetics of the Ultravid binoculars are first rate.
They are expensive but worth it to the critical observer.
