Comments about RKR Micro Micro Lavalier Clip Microphone Holder (Black):

I picked up 2 of these after my lav clip for my new Sony UWP-V1 got lost at a shoot. I thought these would be a workable replacement but there's no reciever for the mic body and when, on a fresh shoot, I tried to get the clip to hold my mic by the cord, it stripped away the wire insulation. Bummer. [...]As always, you get what you pay for. Ordering the better clips with the metal loop for the mic body.

Comments about RKR Micro Micro Lavalier Clip Microphone Holder (Black):

Nice option for when you need to double up with lapel mics, which we do at church as a fail-safe if one goes out. The two sets of clips allow you to loop the cable for strain relief or better cable management. Plastic is perhaps more likely to break, but the low cost more than offsets that potential drawback

I was about to order the Audio Technica but those clips were a lot cheaper and they work as well.

I now use this Micro clip for all my lav mics -- and I use just one mic, with the second clip for a newsman's loop -- that's a little strain relief trick so that you don't get rustling noises whenever your interview victim... I mean guest... moves the cord a bit.

Cheap, yet it clips securely and holds one or two mics. Get these instead of the metal ones that come with some mics.

Comments about RKR Micro Micro Lavalier Clip Microphone Holder (Black):

This works great as a double lav clip. The holders for the mic cable on the rear of the clip are ingenious. Why doesn't EVERY mic clip have these? I also use this clip for a single mic, I like it so much. The only downfall is that you have to clip the mic on by the cable, not the actual condenser part, because the little clippy part is so small. Hence, it's not as solid of a hold.

Comments about RKR Micro Micro Lavalier Clip Microphone Holder (Black):

The dual clip provides more than double the stability for a lav mike by looping the mike cable rather than dropping the cable directly to the wireless transmitter. It also reduces vibration noise from the wearer moving around.
