Comments about ATS Clamp Ball Head:
Very versatile. Te only issue is you don't want to put to much weight on it otherwise the swivel at the end doesn't hold real well.

Comments about ATS Clamp Ball Head:
I have used this for wireless antennas, drum mics, even to hold a camera. Nice price, good clamp range and easily adjustable. The ONLY thing I didn't like is it's standard thread is a camera mount so it uses an adapter. If you don't pay attention the adapter can get stuck with the mic clip. It is also plastic (the adapter) and will wear out soon.

Comments about ATS Clamp Ball Head:
Simple basic and sturdy. Has a plastic ball head which is good enough for light and medium loads.
The best feature is a solid aluminum clamp nicely padded to reduce surface marring. Worth the price.

Very cool device... I used it to attach a pro mic to my dSLR rig, but it could be used for so many things. I will be buying more of these to have handy!

Comments about ATS Clamp Ball Head:
The 1/4-20 accepts lots of attachments and adapters.
I purchased this to mount an audio boom on a podium at a graduation ceremony. And I'm glad I did, because the podium would not have allowed for the use of a stand; and, a simple desk clamp wouldn't have worked.
This clamp saved the day, because I was able to orient the ball head in a very specific way.
And, I'm sure I'll find new ways to use this clamp.
It's a must have!

I purchased this to hang a pair of condenser mics from a shelf in my studio, for room recordings. It seems to be working well so far. It can also work as a mount for a video camera, so I might try that next.

Comments about ATS Clamp Ball Head:
Everyone should add one of these to their frequently used tools. The body is a high quality casting and all of the adjustments give a wide range of possibilities. Not only can you mount a mic from just about any angle or from any surface, it doubles as a camera mount for either my still or smaller video cameras.

Comments about ATS Clamp Ball Head:
I've had things like this for years, but the ATS is the one I carry now. Heavy duty enough for nearly any mic even with a short gooseneck. Although I've wished for the ability to clamp to something wider, I've been very happy with these.

...clamp area could be larger. Also, the screw fitting doesn't screw tight on mine. Overall, a handy addition to the toolkit.
