O EF-500 DG ST é o flash TTL completo e econômico da Sigma. Agora com novos recursos, permite operação i-TTL completa com a mais recente Câmera Digital SLR da Nikkon (ex. D70, série D2).

I use it mainly for fill outside, but it performs well allaround too. I highly recommend the 500 if you don't theextra cash for the bigger brands.

I have had this product for about a month and I think it is a Quality Flash for a low price.I have used the Sigma EF-500 flash for a wedding, and it lighted the alter part or the church very well. The output seems to be consistent, or at least very close. The rate of recycling couldn't keep up with 3 fps, but is still has a fast recycling rate. The flash is somewhat noisy, but not that Noisy. The flash comes with a stand and a small bag. It comes with poor instructions.This Sigma EF-500 flash is very good, with lots of features packed in, for a low price.

I didn't like its finish, no back LCD display. I believe you get more with the Speed Light.... BTW recovery time its very good. I bought few SIGMA stuff and their product are very good and well done....

I purchased this flash as an alternative to the NikonSpeedlight for a new D70-s camera. After comparing featureswith the Speedflash 600, I decided on this unit. I'm very pleased with the performance, recovery time, andi-TTL compatibility with the camera. I recently took over700 photos at a Drag Racing event and with the exception ofa very few night shots( In burst mode) some of the 5th or6th shots were a little dark, but No flash can recover thatquickly ( 3 fps burst). Overall I'm very satisfied with the product and wouldrecommend it as an alternative choice to some higher pricedmodels.
