I like this shock mount a'lot, I have a AT2020 microphone and before I got this shock mount. I was using the mount it came with & you could hear the rumble from the floor when moving around the mic stand. But now I don't hear anything, my only problem was I think it is a lil pricey but who's to say it shouldn't cost that much.

I bought this to replace the cheap stand that came with my Audio-Technica AT2020 USB mic. This mount, along with the desk stand I bought through B&H is way more stable, sturdy and holds the mic like, well, like it's sitting on a cloud...

I use an AT2020 USB mic on a Heil Sound PL2T table mount boom for blog, book transcription, and speech to text. It's a great set up, except that too much table noise was getting to the mic. This shock mount has solved the problem.It seems strange to pay half the cost of the mic for a shock mount- but hey, it works. The mount fits AT2020, AT2020 USB, AT2035, AT2050, AT3035, AT3060. I acquired a couple of AT mics from my brothers studio that he wasn't using anymore, but the shock mounts were missing....This shock mount works well with both AT mics i have...Furthermore it is easy to put and that out the mics from and to the shock mounts

This mount is great. Due to no vibration the sound comes through the microphone clear and crisp. I don't know why anyone would use anything else. Great value for the money.

I use this shock mount for a table-top cardioid voice mike. It diminishes desktop vibration and noise to workable levels, but it is not the ultimate in quiet. For the price, it could have been better executed. The only plus is that it is small and lightweight.

Hi There,

I am happy to report that my sound quality is a step up from where it was prior to adding the shock mount to the micrphone. I use the AT2020 USB mic, and was having some reverb and echo in the recordings. With the shock mount, I am satisfied that I am getting a better sound, and less noise! Yipee!! I was suprised to see the construction, but because I am not an audio equipment expert, I let my ears do the evaluating, and I am very satisfied!

I have used many Shock Mounts but none like this one. I was surprised to even see how well it worked and at how cheap it was. This is something I would reccommend to anybody trying to make the best studio possible. It's easy to put on and take off. You can take it on the road because it's so compact and light weighted. Don't go out and buy a really expensive shock mount that costs hundreds of dollars and most likely won't work as good and flawless as this one. This is hands down the best investment I have made in a while. This product will stop any vibrations causing a bad sound in recordings.

It's hard to believe that any large barrel diaphragm microphones like AT2020 don't come bundled with a quality shockmount. This shock mount is perfectly matched to hold the AT2020 and easily increases the usefulness by 200% in almost all case. It provides complete isolation to accidental knocks and bumps ensuring you get the take you you are recording flawlessly. I will never buy another similar mic without also having a shock mount for it at the purchase time.
