The Audio-Technica AT8470 Quiet-Flex Microphone Stand Clamp is a sturdy, noise-reducing mic clamp for tapered-body handheld mics.
The AT8470's rubbery, pliant material helps shield your mic from noise when removing or attaching the mic. It screws easily on to standard 5/8"-27 threaded mic stands.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8470 Quiet-Flex Mic Clamp:
I bought this mic clamp because Audio-Technica's literature said it was the appropriate one for my mic. Well, the fit is poor: the clamp is too small for the circumference of the mic, so only the base fits well. I worry that the mic will fall. I worry that I'll have to pull so hard when I remove the mic from the clamp that the mic stand will topple. In short, I don't much like this clamp! A similar generic clamp, also made of soft material, costs about one third the price of this one.
