Please note that I have not tried the gear yet while diving. The gear fits ok on the lens. Just a touch loose so I tighten the screws a bit more to be snug. Not so loose that I need to add a piece of o-ring. There is a disclaimer with the gear that says it may be loose or tight on the lens and describes how to adjust the fit if necessary. The lens with gear fit fine on the 20D camera in the Aquatica housing. There is no play between the zoom gear and the control gear in the housing. The zoom adjusts easily and does not bind. This will work fine. Now, to get wet...
