The Allen & Heath Mix Wizard 3 series of sound reinforcement audio mixers delivers the performance and durability expected of a quality live sound console. Lightweight and rack mountable, the Mix Wizard is at home in clubs, halls, theaters, houses of worship, restaurants, etc.
The Mix Wizard 14:4 is a 14 channel mixer with 14 balanced 1/4" TRS line and 10 XLR microphone inputs. 4 buss outputs enable routing to monitors, multi-track recorders, etc. Every input channel features a direct output via 1/4" phone connectors. Direct outputs are ideal for feeding channel signal to separate monitor mixers. Six Aux sends and a pair of dedicated stereo inputs are provided. The master output section includes dual XLR L/R stereo and single XLR mono connectors. In addition, an alternate stereo output is provided via 1/4" TRS connections. The mixer features a high quality internal effects processor engine that provides quality reverbs and delay effects.

Comments about Allen & Heath Mix Wizard 3 14:4:
I recently bought this mixer [...] The console seems well made and is reassuringly heavy. When it arrived I patched it in to our main PA (EV QRX speakers, precision amps, powered subs) and played a CD. The first thing I noticed was the sound was noticeably thinner and lacking in the warmth of our Midas Venice console. After playing around with the eqs and a brief mic check I concluded that the preamps although good are a little noisier than those in the Midas. Having said this, it is worth noting that the Midas cost a lot more and for the price the A&H sounds very good and has many useful features. I also found it to be unaffected by interference from lighting dimmers and cell phones which is more than can be said for some supposedly comparable consoles I have used recently. I am looking forward to using this console on a proper gig with the portable system that it was purchased for. I had expected the desk to be manufactured in the UK but this desk seems very solidly constructed so I'm not upset that it isn't.
