    The Gitzo G2285MB Quick Release Adapter is not only ergonomic, but is designed to expand the range of possibilities of Gitzo heads. It takes a standard square plate, which allows the camera to be positioned at a 90° angle.

    It comes supplied with a plate with 1/4"-20 screw, but also has an optional plate with 3/8" screw. This quick release adapter is also compatible with Gitzo's longer video quick release plate, which is designed to improve off-center distribution of camera weight.

    The Gitzo GS5370C Quick Release Plate is a 1.5" square plate that comes with one standard 1/4"-20 camera screw and one 3/8"-16 screw.  It is a "C" type plate as designated by Gitzo's 3 different profiles.

    As of October 2009, the GS5370C is compatible with the 2285MB, GS3760C, and GS5760C quick release adapters, the G2272M Low-Profile Head, all the current ballheads except for the Off-Center Heads, and the G2180 Fluid Head.

    This plate replaces Gitzo's discontinued G2285M/14 plate.
