The Gates GP25A wide angle port is designed to fit 2.5" openings. There for it will fit all Gates PC and MC series housings. It will also fit the TRV950/TRV900 and PDX10/PD100 housings. The port will fit all Gates out-of-production housings with a 2.5in / 63.5 mm diameter port opening. The wide-angle port has high grade optical components in a durable aluminum shell. The port provides a 70 degree field of view and has very little distortion.
The port contains several lens elements to encompass a larger underwater view. It is by far the most commonly used port as it affords a very broad field of view and large depth of field. Large animals or big reef scenes can be captured with sharp focus on both near and far subjects.
The port only allows partial zooming but those new to underwater imaging will find using a wide angle port makes successful underwater video easy.
