Charges the battery quickly. Power charging light changes from red to green when complete. Easy to store in our small camera case because plug prongs swivel sideways into body of charger. So compact it is too easy to misplace!

After the charging cradle stopped working for my Canon SD30 I bought this to replace it. Since this is a stand alone battery charger, I can have one battery charging while using the other in the camera. Definately worth getting an extra battery if you don't already have one.
