This is a very handy device. I was loaned one when I ruined an expensive camera and a friend loaned me a point-and-shoot to finish my trip but the small card wouldn't fit in my laptop so he also loaned me this gadget and at the same time another friend loaned me a point-and-shoot underwater camera without an adapter but this one fit it too. Still another friend found herself in a bind with camera cards and borrowed this adapter and it saved her trip too...so for a tiny investment, many situations were served. I immediately bought one and would consider buying several and leaving them in various camera and computer bags "just in case."

Recently I purchased a Wolverine ESP 5120 Entertainment Storage Player for my photos. That device had all the storage I needed for remote photo shoots without having to carry a ton on memory cards. The problem was I needed a Memory Stick Duo Adapter to be able to upload my Sony Memory Stick Duo onto the EPS5120. This adapter did the trick and I am able to download photos from the card. This adapter works great. I'd recommend it to others.

There's really only one use for this and that's kind of obvious. For that task it's perfect. I've got 3 now as I tend to buy Memory Stick Duo Pro to fit both my Memory Stick Pro and Memory Stick Duo Pro devices.

I have been using my Sony Memory Stick Duo Adaptors since buying my 2nd new compact digital camera 1 1/2 yrs ago. The adaptor works great with my computer, but the adaptor seems to have a short life. I am on my 2nd adaptor and it just quit working. So now, I've gone through 2 adaptors and neither one works. I would hope for more than 9 months usage from each adaptor. Very disappointing. Especially, considering this is a Sony product.
