The Avenger/Manfrotto C1550 Heavy-Duty Super Clamp features a pipe biting surface for high torque resistance. It also has a metal T-handle for sure locking and heavy-duty gravity casting for extra strength. The HD Super Clamp includes a steel 5/8" pin, and attaches to just about anything: poles, posts, pipes, doors, stands, and beams - virtually any support you can get the Super Clamps wide jaws around.
- This universal clamp can be securely mounted on any tube from .5" to 2.1"

Comments about Avenger C1550 Gravity Cast HD Super Clamp:
I bought two of these, both were manufactured poorly and the connecting pins that are part of the system don't fit in the hole. The metal casting was not handled properly and shrinkage occurred, making the pins not fit.
This is basically the exact same unit as the Manfrotto super clamp, with out the paint and the rubber insert.
I have no less than a dozen of the less expensive Manfrotto superclamps and have never seen this problem.
