The Lightware RMF1629 Rolling MultiFormat Case is a rolling version of the Lightware MF1629 case. The case is designed to carry complete lighting systems consisting of; packs, heads, stands, umbrellas, cables and other accessories. The case is air shippable and includes an ID holder. The case has a top carrying/tow handle and built-in wheels.

Comments about Lightware RMF1629 Rolling Case:
I traveled extensively with this case. It went with me to three continents... I wanted to give 2 stars, but since it did its job I settled for 3.
On a positive note, it did very well in protecting my lighting equipment. Not a single item had been broken. However, after only 6 months of usage the screws holding down the top handle ripped out of their fastening destroying them. Moreover, 10 months into usage, three of the four screws keeping the left wheel attached to the case, also ripped out of their fastenings, thereby destroying them.
I am still trying to figure out how to solve my problem, as just replacing the screws doesn't work. There is nothing left to screw a screw back into.
Therefore, yes the product does prevent fragile equipment from breaking while in transport, but the product itself is very fragile and can fall apart very easily.
