I use this to hold my Lasolite Trigrip reflector & diffuser when I don't have an assistant which is 80% of the time. The clamp is strong and durable and has a variety of uses in the studio and on location. The price is not bad either that's why I'm thinking of getting another one.

I needed a small compact clamp to attach video lights to our overhead truss.

These clamps are perfect for the job. Small, well-built and terrific holding power. Add a standard 5/8 stud and you have a very compact standard light fixture attachment that can be used almost anywhere.

I first purchased these for use with my auto rig, however have found many uses for this great little clamp, such as attaching my strobes to wierd places during weddings. everyone should have a couple of these.

I used this to support an articulated arm, which in turn was used as a camcorder mount. I attached the clamp to a shelf made out of laminated particle board. Although the clamp is clearly designed for attaching to poles, it works great for flat surfaces like my shelf. It hasn't budged since I originally clamped it down.

Works as advertised. The only con (and I hate listing cons when they are obvious from the photo), is that the only insert is perpendicular to the clamped surface. In general, for my applications, this is exactly 90 degrees off of where I want it. But I do always carry at least two of these in my camera bag.

I use the super clamp by Avenger with my Avenger C-stands. It is very strong and you can clamp a variety of equipment including lights, reflectors, difusers and more. I use it to hold up the track for my ladder dolly. It will clamp on round items, or flat items with an included adapter.
