Comments about Billingham L2 Bag (Black with Black Leather Trim):
I have been looking for a new camera bag for a while now and didn't want one that screams "camera bag" but could pass as a purse for times when I am traveling or just out and about. It carries my Nikon SLR and compact digital camera with enough room for a small wallet and extra rolls of film.

Comments about Billingham L2 Bag (Black with Black Leather Trim):
This is by far the best camera bag I've ever purchased; and I have had many bags to say the least. This bag suits my needs simply because its small, comfortable on the shoulders, and very, very well made. It's perfect for a rangefinder system. I easily fit my MP and two lenses with room for another body or lens. The first outing with this bag in NYC, it rained, and I had to walk around for a while in moderate rain. The bag held up, no problem. The water just beaded up and rolled off the bag. My gear was dry and protected. The bag Does Not have zippers. At first the thought of not having zippers worried me. Ironically, it's actually better! No more zippers to fumble with when you need access to your gear quickly. Just simply unlock the leather straps and leave them open when in use. The top is oversized, so it easily folds over your gear without having to lock the straps. The bottom of the bag has brass feet which keeps the bag from tipping over when place down on a flat surface. Also, the bottom has reinforced leather corners. This bag has the same exact specs as the Leica M Bag, except that the Leica M has a zipper and does not have brass feet. Save your money and buy the L2 (Alice). Get the new SP40 shoulder pad.

Comments about Billingham L2 Bag (Black with Black Leather Trim):
This bag is exactly what I needed for my new M9 with the 50mm Lux attached. Comfortable room left for one additional lens (maybe 2), and all the rest you want to bring for a day out shooting pictures. May be a tad bit too small if you want to bring your 13' MacPro Book but... I don't need that.

Comments about Billingham L2 Bag (Black with Black Leather Trim):
I've had this bag for over a year. Perfect for my M6 with lens attached, two spare lenses, plenty of film and filters. Could have used one more partition to separate lenses, but I already had those in pouches.
Basically same Billingham bag that Leica markets. The Leica bag comes with a large Leica badge embroidered on the flap not shown in the B&H website photo. It pretty much says, "Steal me first". So, I exchanged it for this bag.
Absolutely no functional issues with this bag. The quality is excellent, and it rides well on the shoulder.
I'm thinking about getting another Billingham bag for hauling around the DSLRs.
