Comments about Leica 10x25 BCA Trinovid Binocular:
Have purchased 3 pairs of these... One for me and I was so impressed that I purchased two more for relatives. Some may say the 10x25 power can be a bit "jumpy". If you find your hands aren't as steady as they used to be, simply read the directions and hold them as recommended with your thumbs touching the bridge of your nose and pointer fingers touching the eyebrow area... jumpyness cured. I personally think the higher power 10x25 is worth the slightly jumpy nature of these binoculars... These get you in CLOSE with razor sharp, crystal clear, bright clarity. Lots of Binoculars bring things closer but do they really improve your vision at the same time? Pick your bird so far away that is a blur and these will let you see the detail of individual feathers. Simply fantastic and they are not as "Lightweight" as you may think for their size... The Zeiss comparables weigh a bit less for the same size but that lack of weight adds to their jumpy nature. I compared both side by side and can easily say the optics of the Leica are superior. Lieca optics are TOUGH TO BEAT!

Comments about Leica 10x25 BCA Trinovid Binocular:
These are fantastic binoculars. Compared to my extremely sharp, but much bigger and much heavier Zeiss 7X50's they actually show more detail except in dim light. I added a pair of "Bushwacker" brand number 3 rifle scope covers $7.50 each for protection of the objective lenses so I can carry them without worry under my coat without the case. The scope caps are a very snug fit, but open and close at a touch once installed. Although I had read reviews stating that they were difficult to hold steady this was not a problem at all for me. As a cruising sailor living in Alaska I will take them when I go ashore in the dinghy in summer for wildlife viewing and birding, and will use them for hunting in the mountains in fall and winter. I can't imagine a better binocular for my purposes.

Comments about Leica 10x25 BCA Trinovid Binocular:
These Trinovids are even better than I expected. They're small and light--and provide amazing detail. We use them for watching all the bird and animal action around our house. But they're small enough that they're going to be going to the ballet with me too.

Comments about Leica 10x25 BCA Trinovid Binocular:
I have a standard pair of Zeiss binos for my trips to Africa but I wanted a light and bright pair for bird watching and star gazing while on extended backpacking trips. The Leica
Trinovids do the trick. Extremely sharp and light. My only concern is holding them steady. If steady is a concern for you - don't get the 10 power. But these are superb binos.

Comments about Leica 10x25 BCA Trinovid Binocular:
This is the ultimate in a compact binocular with the famous Leica lens quality! These are lightweight, small, and fit on your belt so are easy to take to the opera or symphony as well as on a walk or hike to look at a bird or other wildlife. As with all Leica equipment, they are very expensive, but the lens sharpness and quality are unparalleled. The rear lens rubber eyepieces collapse to the standard distance for use with glasses, which I don't need, but it has been an asset to my friends with glasses. The focal length is longer than most opera glasses, but this gives you a great, close-up view.
