Impact 5-in-1 Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc - 22"
The Impact 5-in-1 Collapsible Reflector Disc is versatile in the field and in the studio, providing shadow-lightening detail in your subject, using available, or studio lighting. It starts out as a translucent white disc -- perfect for softening direct sun, or lights without diffusion. Use the removable, reversible zippered slipcover to reflect light into shadow areas of your subject. Your choice of color -- silver, gold, white, gold/silver mix -- will be determined by the lighting conditions, and your personal preference.
This 22" disc is suitable for head-shots, and small still-life setups. It folds down to 1/3 its open size, and comes with a storage sleeve. We suggest the purchase of a pivoting arm and stand, to hold the disc where needed -- especially if you are working without an assistant.
- Silver Gold (soft gold) combines gold and silver, creating a warm, summery feel that works great with skin tones.
- Silver increases the specular highlights and yields a high-contrast image. Its perfect for video, product shots and B&W photography.
- Gold produces a natural, golden fill that is great for sunsets, jewelry, and indoor portraits.
- White produces an even, neutral-colored bounce light that works beautifully as a fill light source for both product shots and indoor/outdoor portraits.
- Translucent fabric is used to diffuse light, producing a broad light source and a soft, wraparound effect that's perfect for outdoor portraits or whenever a softer light is needed.

I LOVE this reflector. I've been using a 60" reflector that just seems to be too big and hard to angle. This reflector is awesome! Small enough to maneuver if I can't use my reflector stand. I love the gold/silver patterned side because it gives an even tone. This will definitely be part of my everyday use.

I bought this reflector based on the positive reviews and I have found that, while extremely portable, it's size does present limitations. Unless you are using a stand, or have an assistant working with you, it's really hard to direct a nice even reflection. I typically work alone, and I prefer to use minimal gear so I find that the 42, while slightly more cumbersome, produces better results. This is especially true if I have more than one subject. However, if you're only shooting one person and you're happy to use extra tools/an assistant, this reflector gets the job done.

This item packs small and works great. I was able to fit this in my camera bag and fly on a plane to my shoot. While on the shoot the reflector did its job very well. I would recommend this to other photographers

This is probably the best thing ive ever purchased! It made a huge difference in my photos i plan to buy more in all different sizes. Not sure how to use the white sides yet without casting a shadow. But it was my first time using one. I love it, it gave my model her natural skintone without the harsh shadows and really brought out her face from behind her hair. Without it she would have been too dark. I like that u have the choice of silver gold and both mixed i used the mixed side for her complection because shes darker but not that dark. It came out great!

The 5-in-1 Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc does exactly what it's supposed to do--it adds reflected light from the main light source thus removing or reducing unseemly shadows that sometimes form on the subject. I've had great success with portraiture and still-life and have used this product both indoors and outdoors--an absolute must for any budding photogrpaher!

I paid about 24 bucks for this set. The next step up in quality is $50. If you are someone that will use these reflectors A LOT, go with a higher quality. Better zipper, construction etc. If you're someone like me who will only use them once in a while, save 25 bucks and Go with these.

It's wonderful to see some lighting accessories that are very portable but still have practical uses. This thing is very well priced and gives some nice fill options when working in places that are too remote to lug lights out to. It's bit lightweight so you definitely need to be careful with it - but I keep it with my camera kit at all times!
