Impact Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc - White Translucent - 42"
This Impact Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc is a versatile lighting tool for in the field and in the studio. It allows you to bring out the shadow detail in your subject, using available or studio lighting. The disc's translucent surface softens direct or harsh light.
This 42" disc is suitable for 3/4 length portrait and medium still-life setups. It folds down to 1/3 its open size, and comes with a storage sleeve. We suggest the purchase of a pivoting arm and stand, to hold the disc where needed -- especially if you are working without an assistant.
- Translucent white produces a soft light that works beautifully for both product shots and indoor/outdoor portraits.

This actually works wonderfully as a one stop diffuser if you're shooting outdoors in midday light. It is very portable (folds down to one third the size) so easy to have along.

This is my first reflector and I used it to bounce my flash off for indoor portraits as well as to shade the sun (eliminate contrasty light spots) for some outdoor pics and I loved the results. It's hard to manage without an assistant or a stand, but I knew that would be the case. I wish there was some kind of fabric handle or tab which could be used for clamping it to furniture or trees. The frame seems solid and it folds easily.

I use this product for still photography and video lighting. I packs well and is durable. The translucent makes a great soft light modification and can even reflect light to a certain extent if needed.

This diffuser is even larger than I thought it would be. It is good quality and works really well as both a reflector and a diffuser. I plan to buy an Impact 42" 5 in one reflector set and I can use the covers on this diffuser as well.
Because of the size, it can be difficult to use if it is windy but with someone assisting it is easily handled.
The effect is absolutely beautiful. A diffuser is an integral part of any photographer's kit and this one fits the bill for the value.

I bought this for the size and because it was not as expensive as other diffusers. It arrived the day before a shoot of an infant I had scheduled. The soft light it produced couldn't have been any better.
