Protect your valuable network data and equipment with the award-winning APC Smart-UPS Battery Backup and Surge Protector. With connectivity either through serial or USB port, this item supplies reliable power backup (featuring Intelligent Battery Management) and protection from power surges.
Available as either tower or rack-optimized structure, this UPS features Web browser and/or environmental monitoring and serial port expansion. Other out-of-band management options also are supported. Sine-wave output ensures compatibility with any connected device and the 16-segment bar graph allows visual monitoring of information.
The included PowerChute management software for servers and workstations allows safe system shutdown and advanced UPS management (supporting the major operating systems). An internal accessory slot, SmartSlot, lets you install performance-enhancing accessories.

- Backup Battery Protection
- This powerful UPS supplies reliable power backup protection, typically 15.9 minutes (250 watts) at half-load or 4.6 minutes (500 watts) at full load, ensuring you have time to shut your system down in the event of power loss.
- Audible Notifications
- Built-in audible alarms notify you instantly of trouble. Also features a disconnected battery notification.
- Automatic Load Restart and Self-Test
- This unit features automated restart of loads and automatic self-test.
- Hot-Swappable Battery
- A hot-swappable battery allows you the flexibility of changing it without having to turn off the unit.
- Adjustable Voltage Sensitivity and Transfer Points
- This UPS features adjustable voltage sensitivity and adjustable voltage-transfer points.
