The Photoflex VCBL4002 Speed Ring allows mounting of a Photoflex Silverdome, Silver HalfDome, Chimera Video Pro, Westcott Video series, or any other manufacturer's heat-resistant rectangular or octagonal softbox to a Lowel Omni light fixture.

If you have to use an Omni Light, this is the best way to use it. Get a speed ring and slap a Chimera to the front of it.
The speed ring works well, my only beef is the tightening rods used to secure it to the light. They're just a bit difficult, once you've got the ring on you're not gonna want to take it off.
