Switronix GPTS V-Mount Hot Swap Adapter
The Switronix GPTS is a "hot swap" power adapter that mounts directly to your existing V-plate. Batteries are mounted side by side, so you can easily remove the depleted battery while leaving the other battery connected so there is never any down time. The GP-TS is outfitted with a 2-pin power port so that you are not limited to the cameras' own connector.

This is a great product that allows you to switch out a dying battery with a fresh one with out tuning off your camera and accessories. My biggest complaint and why it doesn't get five stars is that it only has one d-tap port. On the unit there is another place that a d-tap port could have gone but it is covered with plastic. It is also a bit heavy, especially with two batteries on it, but when it his helping counter balance a front heavy handheld rig the extra weight is appreciated.

The hot swap adapter, although adds a fair bit more weight to the camera, is such a handy gadget to have in your kit. You never know when your going to be out on that shoot where keeping the camera powered is crucial to getting that shot or where your powering extra peripherals off the camera and you need the extra battery to increase shoot time.
