The Beyerdynamic MCE86 II Cam is a professional shotgun microphone designed for use with consumer, professional and semi-professional video cameras. The rugged shotgun microphone measures 310mm long and features a hyper-cardioid / lobe pick up pattern. The pick up pattern effectively minimizes noise and off-axis (side) signal while accurately reproducing the source signal at the front of the microphone capsule. The MCE86 II is capable of receiving 11-52V phantom power or internal power via 1.5V AA battery. The microphone also features an On/Off switch for added flexibility.
- Integrated Kit for Camera Use
- The MCE86 II Cam includes the EA86 camera mount, WS 716 windscreen and short connecting cable for use with video cameras.
- Hyper-Cardioid Polar Pattern
- The hyper-cardioid lobe polar pattern effectively minimizes wind noise and side audio, maximizing pick up at the front of the microphone.
- Low Wind Noise
- An integrated active filter reduces noise caused by wind, rumble and motor noise.
- Battery or Phantom Powered
- The microphone is capable of receiving 11-52V phantom power or internal power with a standard 1.5V battery.
- On/Off Switch
- An On/Off switch provides added flexibility and control.
