All steel. Extremely heavy-duty! Worth twice the price! I use it to mount my Manfrotto Super Boom to a cine stand. The heavy-duty stand comes with a 1 1/8" Junior mount, and you need this adapter to fit the smaller 5/8" yoke on the boom. It's essential gear, and is not expensive.

The E200 Stand Adapter allows the proper attachment of lights to any holding device...If not for any other reason, liability. I do a lot of TV production, lights are important, but more so then that, the proper attachment of those lights are important, too.
