I purchased this battery for use in our church's wireless mics. I have always used NiMH rechargeable batteries for our mics, and have been able to observe them running low on my receiver's battery level meter about 30 minutes before they go completely dead.
This battery is advertised to have more mAh of storage capacity than the brand we had been using. This battery lasts exactly 2 1/2 hours in our wireless mic, which is about the same as our other brand with a lower mAh rating. However, this battery has an extremely fast end-of-charge dropoff. Even though it stays at 100% of charge for the first 2 1/2 hours of use, it then quickly drops to 75%, 50%, 25% and then dead, all in a matter of about 3 minutes! This is way too fast to react to a low battery warning and prevent the mic from going dead during a service. Of course, we manage exchanging the batteries between services to keep their use under 2 hours at a time, but I am still disappointed in the rapid discharge witnessed at each end-of-charge cycle, and miss the 30 minute warning our other brand of battery gave us!

These definitely hold charge longer than others I have used.

I use 2 of these batteries in a Shure FP-33 field mixer. They will power the mixer for a little over 4 hours--not quite as good as standard alkalines, but good enough for most of the jobs I do. And as they are rechargeable, I will realize considerable long term savings over alkalines.
