I was expecting the handle to be a little longer so I could carry my tripod over my shoulder but it's a perfectly good hand carrying handle. Good purchase, gets the job done.

I bought this strap for my Manfrotto 055XPROB thinking it would sling over the shoulder but nooooo. I would not have purchased this item if it were more clear in the item title, item description or if there was a better photo. It arrived with no instructions on how to connect it so it wasn't until I did a search and watched an amateur video (not a pro one from the manufacturer) did I discover this is only a handle strap. This means it simply is designed to make your tripod more like a "suitcase" than a "shoulder bag".My pet peeve with most Manfrotto products is that you really can't tell much from their products until you actually receive it. If an item even comes with a manual (which a often times it doesn't) it's difficult to comprehend what actually needs to be done.I feel I could have avoided many "wrong for me but maybe right for somebody else" purchases if [...] Manfrotto [...]the item both visually and in writing. My two cents. YMMV.

This strap is very good, serves its purpose but I wish it was adjustable in length because it is not long enough to carry on your shoulders. The only problem that I have is the inability to carry the tripod and taking pictures at the same time. Other than that, quality is great and the price is fair.
