I use this on a HMC-150. Fits perfectly, and makes it much easier to shoot outdoors.

It does add a tiny amount of bulk to the flip-out screen, and I'm careful not to catch it on cables, etc., and to not put too much stress on the hinge.

This is a great tool to use when shooting video outdoors with your camera. It's hard to see with the sun light beaming onto your LCD screen; however, with the LCD Monitor Hood, you'll be able to set your focus and iris correctly. So if you don't want to worry about bringing bad footage back to edit then I would recommend buying this for your camera.

It's easy to use, protects your LCD screen, has an adjustable height, and just works great! It was awesome to just slide this thing on in 2 seconds and have a great protected view of my LCD screen. You can also raise it higher if you need to and there is a cover that is adjustable so you can have more control over light shinning on your LCD. I have to admit, I do think this thing is too expensive for what it does.

I have a different LCD Hood that used elastic bands and I was afraid that it would cause problems with the strain of putting it on and taking it off. This one is PERFECT, it slide perfectly on the 3.5" LCD on my Panasonic DVX100B. The felt lining prevent scratching my LCD Monitor.

This unit truly improves viewing the LCD in different lighting conditions. I am truly impressed with this product.
