The 322RC2 ball head sports a large, ergonomic handle to quickly and efficiently open its ball joint for repositioning, then locks when released. Clamping tension is adjustable, and the quick release assembly may be repositioned for left-handed use.
Upon first inspection, the 055MF4 MagFiber tripod legs feel so light that one could easily underestimate their actual carrying strength. Not only are they stronger for their weight than aluminum alloys, but also have the useful characteristic of absorbing vibration. The three-faced profile of the tubes resists torsional stress, and their non-metallic composition has the additional benefit of not freezing bare hands in place when used in cold climates.
