Comments about Hasselblad CF Lens Adapter for the H Series Cameras:
I've just recently bought a used CF Adapter. I thought it would be a great addition to my Hasselblad collection in that I could use all the V lenses on my nice new H3DII. Wrong, or, partially wrong. Now, this is not to say that all used adapters out there have these same characteristics but it is something to ask questions about if you're thinking of going in the used direction.
When I first twisted the adapter onto the body, it had that good old solid Hasselblad feel to it. Then I twisted and poked a nice nearly new Distagon 50 mm lens into the adapter and hooked up the PC cord that's needed to communicate the lens shutter release with the adapter to synchronize the body with the lens so that the camera knows a shot had been taken. Here's where the problem came in. When it was time to push that shutter release down nice and gently halfway, to do all the stuff we like to do at that famous halfway point of the shutter release...well, the camera kind of sat there and came out with this dumb comment, as if to say,... huh? Yes, that's right, the camera didn't know the button had been pushed as far as the lens was concerned and did not even know that there was a lens attached. It was only after I pushed the shutter-cocking lever several times and/or fiddled with it did I even get any acknowledgement that a lens was attached to the camera. If it had worked correctly, the LCD display would have queried what type of lens was it that I had attached to the adapter and after telling it which one, I would have been happily on my way of pushing the shutter release button further down into the camera's body and heard that lovely 'FA-LOP' that you hear on those big medium formats when the mirror flops up and down.
So, if this is any help to you, you may want to question how well the adapter communicates with the body before you go plunking down those hard-earned bucks on one of these used money gobblers.

Comments about Hasselblad CF Lens Adapter for the H Series Cameras:
This adapter enables the use of all V series lenses (lenses made after 1957) on the Hasselblad H model cameras. All of the metering features on the camera are retained. CFE lenses provide aperture priority mode and wide open metering is done with any lens. Ev is displayed on an LCD screen and a jog wheel selects setting combinations at that light level.
A lever on the adapter, that winds the lens, requires quite a bit of force to operate. A multi-stroke design might have helped with that.
