Purchased to replace a Terk Amplified indoor antenna where the power inducer failed after many years of service. The SSA works just as wel as the Terk, and has a much smaller footprint. Found out the new device works best laying flat.

I use this antenna with a small lcd flat screen and it's good. I'm able to get reception on all the main channels. I bought an RCA antenna and it was the worst, I took it back and bought this now I'm happy.

Works very well. Is directional, light weight, good looking, and is the only antenna that has consistently brought in both pbs and abc, 13, 7 in NYC. We tried numerous other and more expensive antennas. This one also had the advantage of being very compact, about 6 x 9 inches total and very thin,
