The PSC DV ProMix 1 is a combination microphone preamplifier and monitor tap for field audio applications such as Electronic News Gathering (ENG), Electronic Field Production (EFP), broadcasting, etc. The DV ProMix 1 features a quiet, high output, balanced XLR microphone preamp with variable gain control.
The microphone input is capable of supplying 12T or 48V phantom power to condenser microphones. A switchable low-cut filter eliminates hum and low frequency noise. The DV ProMix 1 features a balanced XLR-female monitor return input and stereo 1/4" phone headphone output. A bright 6-segment peak LED is easily read in bright sunlight, and the unit is powered by two 9-volt batteries or external 7-16Vdc power source. A belt clip is provided.
- Boom Pole Remote Capable
- The DV ProMix 1 is compatible for use with boom pole remote fader devices. Boom pole mounted fader control allows the engineer to adjust audio level remotely.
- Built In Limiter
- The ProMix 1 features switchable limiters on input and output. The limiters minimize noise caused by peaks and transients.
- 12T and 48V Phantom Power
- The balanced XLR microphone preamp provides 12T or 48V phantom power to condenser microphones.
