The Datavideo MP-6000 is a standalone DVD recorder that uses both DVD+R and DVD+RW media. Create discs using the standard MPEG-2 codec from a variety of sources, such as VCRS and NLEs. Select bitrate level from the control panel to toggle between image quality and run time.
- MPEG-2 Technology
- The MP-6000 records to the MPEG-2 DVD standard, which produces high quality video playback while still maintaining manageable file sizes. Video processing hardware ensures high quality over the gamut of selectable bitrates, while providing advanced color correction.
- Multiple Inputs
- The MP-6000 is capable of inputing a wide range of video sources, from DV-25 FireWire connection, composite, component or S-Video. Whatever your needs, this recorder has you covered.

The input and output options of this device are great. But in a world where it's tough to even find a 4:3 TV anymore, a "professional" DVD recorder that will not allow a 16:9 format is just unacceptable.
