Onkyo's TA-RW255 Dual Auto Reverse Tape Recorder and Player makes playing cassettes enjoyable again. Auto reverse and relay play give you hours of continuous music. Dolby B and C noise reduction take the hiss out of recordings and make prerecorded cassettes sound their best.

An automatic bias selector chooses the best setting for whatever tape you're using. If you like to record your own cassettes, you can take advantage of high-speed dubbing and the automatic level control. Automatic song spacing and CD Synchro record make dubbing CDs easy.

Dual Auto Reverse
Never flip a tape again! Dual auto reverse automatically reverses the tape in both wells for uninterrupted listening and recording.
Relay Play
Relay play gives you even more uninterrupted listening. The deck plays both sides of one tape, then switches to the second tape. Once the second tape has played, you can put a third tape in the first well, and a fourth in the second, and so on.
Dolby B and C Noise Reduction
Use Dolby to reduce hiss on your recordings and improve the sound quality of the tapes you play.
Ferrite Erase Head
The erase head ensures better quality recordings by erasing the tape before you record new material on it. Used tapes that are erased before rerecording have less noise.
High-Speed Dubbing
Make perfect copies of cassettes several times faster than real-time.
Record Level Control
You adjust the record level manually on this deck. The manual control is more precise than an automatic control. An eight-segment meter helps you adjust for the proper level.
Automatic Tape Bias Selector
The tape bias selector adjusts for the different types of tape available. It distinguishes between low-bias Type I, medium-bias Type II, and high-bias Type IV.
CD Sync
When you dub a CD, the deck starts recording when it senses music from the CD player.
Auto Spacing
When you record, the deck can put pauses between each song to make songs easier to search for in playback.
