The Audio-Technica AT892c MicroSet is a headworn microphone featuring a miniature capsule and an inconspicuous, low-profile ear loop. Measuring just 2.5mm in diameter, the miniature omnidirectional capsule is unobtrusive and easily concealed without sacrificing intelligibility and overall sound quality. The omnidirectional polar pattern provides a generous pickup and even frequency response at the off-axis and direct sections of the microphone. The ear loop is concealed behind the ear and underneath hair while providing a lightweight comfortable fit. The AT892c is a perfect solution for stage and television talent, lecturers and houses of worship.

Our church owns and uses 3 of these mics. Our pastor has used this model on every Sunday morning for the past couple of years. We use the others for mainly for skits, and now one of our vocalists uses one. These mics reproduce spoken word and singing clearly and accurately.
I did not give this mic a five only because the user MUST put it on properly, and will find the mic moving all over the place if precautions are not used in placing the "cable clip" on, and correctly.
We have never found feedback to be a problem with this unit. Our speaker is near stage monitors and foh speakers alike with nary a problem. I might note that we use wireless Shure ULXS and ULXP trans. and rec. exclusively.
