It's the best strap available. I use them on my company issued Canon cameras. The ones that come with the Canon cameras are too wide and have too much traction on my shoulder, they don't slide when you want them to, to shoot vertical, etc. The Nikon AN-4 straps are just the right width and hold up good for a long time.

This classis black Nikon camera strap is a perfect fit for me. A narrow strap that more closely coforms to the contours of my shouldr repositioning the center of gravity closer to my neck. The narrow profile can easily be wrapped around my hand for a more secure grip on the camera and I am able to color code my various cameras with the different AN straps.

I shoot weddings and formal events, mostly with a Nikon D300, flash and flash bracket. This strap is comfortable to use and does not get in the way or tangled up when wearing a coat and tie. Plus, no big yellow lettering to call attention to yourself when you're trying to blend in with the crowd. I will never go back to a wide strap.

Excellent strap. Durable with good non-slip material. Stays on shoulder. Don't care for the wide straps or those with the camera manufacturer's name plastered all over it. I use these on all of my Nikons; D300, D3100, D70, D50, and P7000.

This strap came with one of the Nikon cameras I bought some years ago. I would not use any other. It's the right width, and doesn't have advertising all over it. I would recommend this to anyone who has a camera (even those "other" brands).

This strap from Nikon is excellent in that it is narrow and strong. The grip material sets well into your neck without being irritating. The adjustment is straight-forward. It will be on the camera for years and years.

Nicely made, narrow strap. But it is only 48" long end to end before you attach your camera. So unless you only want to wear it around your neck and have your camera sit high on your chest, find a differnt strap. Trouble is that most of the narrow straps are also on the short side.

I use it on my Canons! The perfect camera strap that does not advertise. I've got three on each of the bodies I carry. Some may find a weighty lens like the 70-200mm a bit uncomfortable, but I like the simplicity and non-tangling strap.

I exchanged my wide nikon strap for this one.
It is much more comfortable around the neck and over/on the shoulder. I would not go back to the wide one. Even makes the camera feel less bulky and lighter.

I had two of these straps that were in use for about 20 years. They are thin, but comfy. I switched to Canon about five years ago, but still use these straps.

I use this strap with my Nikon FA camera, which is not exactly lightweight. In my opinion, this strap is the perfect size, unlike many of Nikon's wider straps that are a bit too uncomfortable to wear around your neck.
