The adapter cord works as advertised to tether a GPS unit to the camera. Easy to use and install. I would have been happier if the cord were shorter, about 10".

The threads on my unit fit fine once you line up the
the 10 pin connector properly.
I hooked up my Garmin Etrex Vista and it works great.
I just wish it was cheaper.

The MC-35 has a locking 10 pin connector at one end for the camera, and a standard 9 pin D-sub
connector at the other end for connection to your Garmin or Magellan computer interface cable or(serial Port Cable)Just one Problem! the female threads on the MC-35 D-sub side are incorrect, they are very fine pitch threads that will not allow you to secure your GPS interface cable for use out in the field. While this setup can work without securing the interface cable screws, it is unacceptable for a genuine Nikon accessory to be flawed this way...
