This Equinox Monitor has a large 2.5" color active matrix LCD display that makes framing easy even in bright sunlight. This monitor is for camcorders with Mini 1/8" plug connectors. It is powered by a rechargeable Ni-Cad battery. The battery gives you one hour of view time. The monitor is not waterproof. You need to place the monitor inside the housing.

For a six-hour charge time, you only get about an hour of "on" time, but that is the only irritant. I use this for shooting with my Equinox UW housing. Without the added screen, it is near impossible to frame shots accurately. The price is steep, but if you really need to frame your shots, then you need to cough up the money and buy this.
