Does the job but hard to use & easy to hit the wrong button... Maybe just user error but I've used better.

Comments about Behringer BCD-2000 B-Control DeeJay Machine - Integrated DJ Mixer, Audio Interface and Control Surface for DJ Software (Windows):

I received the bcd and started playing with it in the begging with their default program. The B-DJ is not good at all. Then I started messing with the virtual DJ. Virtual DJ is a great piece of software and says it has support for the BCD but bcd makes the Virtual DJ crash a lot ( i was only getting about 10-20 minutes of play it before crash). Then i gave it a shot with Traktor, you need to do a lot of research to be able to get it to work with Traktor and you still won't be aple to use the analog or Timecode feature. Then I decided to give a shot to Future Decks and that got me a little happy although it doesn't crash at all with it lacks in some features...

Comments about Behringer BCD-2000 B-Control DeeJay Machine - Integrated DJ Mixer, Audio Interface and Control Surface for DJ Software (Windows):

You definitely get what you pay for with this device. Its very unstable and is prone to locking up - something you could never have at a real gig. Its great to learn on and play around with for fun - but beyond that its pretty low-quality. If you're into doing some fun mixing at home and occasionally host a house party - then fine. If you intend to make this your primary controller at a legitimate gig - completely forget it. The drivers are very volatile - sometimes they work other times they dont. Ive used it with Virtual DJ to limited success. The commands are defined well and controls are intuitive but every once and a while things just stop working - Ive noticed this is only the case on my laptop however - with a desktop it works much better.

Decent product. The software that comes with it is garbage. It is near impossible to get it working with Traktor perfectly. Wasn't what I was looking for, I returned it.

fun to play around with but I'd say that's the extent of it. As far as practical applications are concerned; you'd probably be better off spending the extra money and buying something a little more professional. Although, it was well worth the money and for a novice it gives a good platform to play around with.

Comments about Behringer BCD-2000 B-Control DeeJay Machine - Integrated DJ Mixer, Audio Interface and Control Surface for DJ Software (Windows):

the bcd-2000 is allright if u have a very fast machine. it has all the knobs and faders that make dj'ing simple and easy, its onboard sound card and audio inputs make for a versitile mixing board that can be used for many applications. the cons for this machine are many though. it is not supported by any native insturmants software so forget about using traktor thejog wheels do not send the right singnal to midi the software that comes with it totally bites and the sound card is a bit fuzzy and lo-fi all in all its good if u are new to dj'ing or just want to use it as a mixer, if u are serious about your music i would save up for something better

Comments about Behringer BCD-2000 B-Control DeeJay Machine - Integrated DJ Mixer, Audio Interface and Control Surface for DJ Software (Windows):

I am a proffesional sound engineer, and I thought I would give this a try. Don't bother. The unit works OK if you have a dedicated computer just for this software. The software is very taxing on the CPU so you cannot run anything else if you want a smooth sound. I experienced multiple issues: The software locks up often. You cannot drag and drop an MP3 to go next in line on the play list. There are no sound leveling options. It's a cool product, but not at all ready for release. I would not buy. Look for something else! I would never trust this product at an event.
